Our School

Westview Middle School was opened in September 1967. We are located on the West Mountain between West 5th Street and Garth Street, South of Mohawk Road.  Our catchment area is from Scenic Drive to the North side of Twenty Road, and from the West side of Upper James to the East side of Garth.

This year we are home to almost 288 students in grades 6, 7, and 8.

Westview shares a large property with Westmount High School and Westwood Elementary School.  Westview draws from our feeder schools Westwood, Buchanan Park and James MacDonald.

We also share property with Westmount Recreation Center.  A great place to access fantastic city run programs such as swimming lessons, open gyms and various programs and activities.  Contact the City of Hamilton for more details.
